Chapter 6

Chapter 6 is up! Hellhound makes his debut here, adding a new threat to the growing rogues gallery. His arrival offers a glimpse of the larger story beginning to unfold, while Sam’s role continues to grow as he becomes more involved in Jon’s world.

Chapter 5

It’s a double-drop today! Chapter 5 is now live. This chapter continues to expand the rogues gallery as Jon faces his first real setback against Sinister. We also get our first glimpse of a vicious dog—one that ties into the larger story unfolding behind the scenes. Enjoy!

Chapter 4

Chapter 4 is now up! This chapter shifts the focus toward building relationships between the characters and expanding the world around them. It also gave me the chance to revisit the visuals in a big way. Many of the backgrounds were added during the cleanup process, helping to better ground the scenes and bring the environments to life. Like a lot of these early chapters, the original version prioritized momentum over detail. Revisiting it now has been a great opportunity to round things out and present the story more fully.

Chapter 3

Chapter 3 is now live! This chapter brings the origin story to a close and establishes the direction moving forward. From here, the story begins to take shape in a more familiar rhythm—centered in its primary setting and expanding its cast, including a new pair of villains. At seven pages, this is the longest chapter so far and adds several key elements that will carry into what comes next. Enjoy!

Chapter 2

Chapter 2 has now been posted. This chapter has been fully recolored from the original art, with some added background elements to help bring the world to life. It introduces the Samurai, one of the earliest villain concepts I created. Looking back, their design was heavily inspired by the anime Yoroiden Samurai Troopers (Ronin Warriors). If I were creating them today, I’d definitely push for something more original, but this project is about preserving the story as it was, while refining it where I can. So here they are, exactly as they were imagined back then—just with a fresh coat of paint. Enjoy!
